I am the head of the Machine Learning Consulting Unit (MLCU) at the Munich Center for Machine Learning and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Statistics at LMU Munich.
My research focuses on statistical and machine learning methods for non-standard data with correlations (hierarchical, longitudinal, spatial) and complex temporal processes with sampling bias and partial observability (survival analysis).
I’m passionate about scientific consulting and knowledge transfer into domain science and industry.
